Gudamalani is a village in Barmer district of Rajasthan state of India. It is a tehsil headquarter. The village is located in the Thar desert.

Where Male population is 2,418, while female populatioin is 2,122. gudamalani is situated on the road connecting jodhpur to ahemedabad .gudamalani is one of the consituency of barmer district . This area unlike thar desert area is somewhat green and the land is fertile . Luni river of rajasthan flows through gudamalani. Gudamalani is on the bank of luni river. Barudi , a village 15 km away from gudamalani is an important village in the area , as it is prosperous and the land of barudi is fertile which results in the good production of the crop jeera . A large quantity of jeera from barudi village is supplied to the other parts of the country . People of gudamalani and barudi region are mainly bishnoi and jat . Bishnoi people are dominant in this region . They do not believe in idol worship as said by their dharm guru jambheshwarji . [1]
